Dynorun!

I participated in a dyno shootout, where anyone who participated got one dyno run for free. If I were to pay the usual $50 to get a dyno session, I'm sure that I could tweak a few (literally 1 or 2) more HP out of jetting changes.

I was hoping that they would have started recording output as low as 3000 rpm, but what can you say when it's free?? Oh, they also weighed my bike right before the dyno run (if I had known this, I wouldn't have JUST filled up!) and she weighed 430 lbs with a full tank.

What could I do for more power? If I was able to keep my wonderful bike and spend more money on her, I'd go for the custom spaghetti exhaust like what I just saw on a customer's bike, get Nology coils and wires, then maybe shave some weight off the flywheel. Some people have picked up aftermarket ignition modules which advance the timing curve a bit. All of this would probably run about another grand, and good for another 5 to 7 hp.
